Monika Pedersen (Århus, 21 Dezembro, 1978) é uma cantora Dinamarquesa da banda Sinphonia e ex-vocalista da banda Norueguesa de gothic metal Sirenia , substituindo a cantora Henriette Bordvik. Ela também atuou como cantora convidada em algumas outras bandas como Mercenary, Effektor, Evil Masquerade, Manticora e Ad Noctum.

Listens to: A lot of different genres. Some of my favourite bands are: Faith No More, Nevermore, Iron Maiden, Nile, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The National, classical music and many many more.
My life in music: I have listened to music since I was a child. Music means everything to me.
I dont know if you can call it a coincidience or destiny. But my entrance to singing really started when I was 11 years old. I was a sporty girl, busy with many different activities. But then I got my appendix removed, and after the sugery, the doctor told me, that I could not do any sports for a half year. Then I started singing in the school choir, and that was the beginning of it all. Within the next 5 years I was singing in different bands, musicals, singing lessons and my choir teatcher always gave me the solos. Then I started believing in myself as a singer.
When I turned 19 I found my first serious band: Sinphonia. We released 2 CD's: When the tide breaks and Divine Disharmony. We were playing together in 3 years. From 2006-2007 I was the singer in the Norwegian band: Sirenia. I was doing vocals on the album: Nine Destinies and a Downfall. Besides that I have done a lot of guest vocals with different bands( Mercenary, Evil Masquerade, Manticora, Serpent Saints and Ad Noctum. I also played live with them.
